Looking after your DogIn Pursuit
In Pursuit
We have reduced the dogs’ desire to chase and skill through selective breeding, but all dogs instinctively chase almost anything that moves because they are descended from wild hunters. This natural predatory instinct is constructively channeled in breed such as sheep dogs and cattle dogs. Allowing them to do what comes naturally but on our behalf. They are trained to slink forward and round up livestock rather than to attack it. Without proper training, the dogs inherent inclination is to chase and bite its prey.
